Louis Vuitton's monogram opens up to online personalization

Faced with an increasingly sustained demand for the personalisation of luxury products, the Louis Vuitton monogram is embellished with - almost - tailor-made ornaments.

Your initials on a Louis Vuitton bag, enhanced with your favourite colours. With Mon Monogramme, the luxury house intends to allow its customers to access a small part of its personalisation offer via its website.

Digital Do It Yourself, interactivity, exclusivity... This initiative, which insists on its added value by indicating "Create a unique piece" on its call-to-action buttons, comes at a time when the demand for ad hoc products and experiences is gaining ground among luxury consumers in all segments, from fashion to tourism and perfumery, jewellery and automobiles. Recently, the manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover indicated, for example, that it had seen a doubling of requests for personalized colorimetry for its vehicles in the last two years, prompting it to invest several million euros in the subject.
